In each and every photo session,  Deena was able to capture our son’s personality and document the many physical and personality changes in our son. I initially thought that having so many photo sessions the first year might be excessive, but we loved the results so much and enjoyed having each stage of the first year documented so well, we added an additional session mid-way through the first year!  Inviting a photographer into your home, especially shortly after you welcome a new addition can be a little daunting. Deena was so professional, relaxed and easy to work with, it was a joy inviting her into our home to capture those special moments.  Our son is now past the first year, but we often find ourselves looking at the beautiful photos Deena captured during that time. We are so thankful we have the beautiful images to look at from that fleeting time.  Sadly, we no longer live in the area but loved working with Deena so much, we plan on scheduling our yearly family photo sessions with her when we return to Dallas every year.

I have searched since I found out I was pregnant for a photographer that would not cost us the same as a down payment on a house to get great professional pictures.  I was at a friends house one day admiring all her pictures and she told me her husband’s cousin did them.  I thought that maybe it was just for family, until I ran across her website.  I am so glad that I called Deena to do our first session about a year ago.  The only regret I have is that I had the knowledge of her photography when my son (3 1/2) was just born.  She is amazing!!  My son loves when he sees her and her camera.  He just hams it up for her all the time.  And the fact that she can get him to sit still and do a real smile for a photo has made her my hero.  I get all excited when I get an email from her telling me that she has my sneak peak ready or that the proofs are ready.  I always want to buy them all, I don’t think she has ever taken a bad picture for us EVER. In fact, she just did an extended family session for us with my husband’s siblings, parents, and grandparents.  She had all the pictures that we wanted and more done in less than an hour and this is with our ever active son.  I can’t wait until we have our next session.  I am trying to come up with reasons why we need more family photos just so that we can have Deena take them.
